What I did over the holidays
Saturday night I attended the Festival of Zapote's second to last night. Zapote is a month long party held during the Christmas/New Year Holiday. It is a mix between carnival and Rodeo. The carnival part was pretty cool, with lots of local food, beers, and your typical carnival rides and such... But remember that my lovely wife is a fincera, So the Rodeo part was at the top of her agenda. For me, seeing a bunch of idiots running around provoking 2000 pound bulls was the most boring thing I have ever seen.
I was actually rooting for the bulls. Most of the Holidays we spent just chilling, eating, and enjoying the kids. It did not hurt that I bought an XBox 360 and a 42 inch Plasma TV over the holidays. Anyway, its back to work today... Will put up a few more holiday pictures in the next few days... Posted by David A at January 7, 2008 11:27 AM
