The fact that BillO thinks stories like this constitutes journalism just goes to show how much of a fraud he is. Anybody can post any comment on a blog, but a few comments are not representiative of the community. They do not comprise what everyone involved with the blog thinks. This is especially the case on a site the size of dKos, where they receive thousands upon thousands of comments a day. Hell, for all anybody knows, Bill O'Reilly's staffers planted those comments on dKos so the schmuck would have a story. Not saying that such happened, but it could have and we wouldn't know any better.

The standard for what speech represents a blog community should be limited to what is published to the main page of a blog. And that's it.

As for hateful comments, there's a larger conservative community called Free Republic who's users regular spew hatred. Pam Spaulding of Pandagon and Pam's House Blend has made Freeper's objection quotes a regular series of blog postings on her site for years. If he's going to "report" on dKos comments, why doesn't BillO interview her about the hate coming from commenters on Free Republic? He's a hypocrite if he doesn't.

Anyways, on a somewhat related but not really note, I snagged a picture of myself with BillO's substitute host. You'll recognize her. Heh.

Man you look good standing next to Michelle. I have to admit that she looks hot, despite her politics.
