Duke Rape Case - Update
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - DNA testing in the Duke lacrosse rape case found genetic material from several males in the accuser’s body and her underwear - but none from any team member, defense attorneys said in court papers Wednesday. I have always said that if these allegations turned out to be false, that I would admit I was wrong. It looks very much like I WAS wrong. At least all the evidence points to me being wrong. No I never pronounced anyone guilty. But I will freely admit that I thought they were. The DA may still have something up his sleeve, that proves guilt. If he does, I believe it is time to put it on the table, or to admit that these boys have been wrongly accused. And if they were, the accused needs to face the full penalty allowed by law.
