Every year The Utopia Group tries to commit to one social action project that will benefit the children of Costa Rica. Our company is committed to Social Action, and we are one of the few companies in Costa Rica, that has a social action commitment built in to our mission statement.My own commitment to social action goes back to my membership in Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, who's motto is "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity."

I was recently made aware of a very poor elementary school in my own barrio. The school is called Escuela la Pueblo and it is in San Pablo de Heredia. The school, is in desperate need of money and every dollar helps. I am reaching out to friends, Fraternity Brothers, business associates and others who might consider donating a few dollars/colones to the school. ANY help will be appreciated.
