xXx State of the Union

Saw Ice Cube in State of the Union, the other night. They should have stuck with Vin Diesel. He was at least SOMEWHAT believable... Not that I don't love my boy Cube, but damn that was a BAD, ridiculously exaggerated cartoon of a movie.

There was ONE good thing about the movie, and only one...

Nona Gaye

She was exceptionally hot as Lola.

Now the whole street gangs taking on elite military forces and tanks and what not... Well, lets just say, I am not capable of suspending my disbelief quite that far.

And the whole bit with the Shelby Cobra... I know someone who has one. Hot car... Able to overtake a bullet train on rims on a railroad track? Eh, I don't think so.

But on Nona, hey, she made the movie worth watching, thats for sure. Otherwise, I wouldn't even give it a thumbs up as a rental...

Sorry Cube... Stick to the Friday franchise... It works for you.

Ice Cube was excellent in Three Kings. I saw the trailer to XXX 2 and thought I would pass.
