Funny how you don't mention the prominent liberal blogger (TalkLeft) who thinks the case is shit. It's a case about justice not politics, not much different than the Kobe Bryant case, aside from the race of the accused and accuser. There we're a hell of a lot of people who questioned the evidence (or lack thereof) in the Bryant case too...

I for one will not let this case get swept under the rug. These boys were attacked by almost every racists and sexist political group, their lives were turned upside down, and three of their lives are totally destroyed as their parents will have to pay several hundred thousands of dollars in legal fees.

As this case unravels to be the false claim that it is, feminist blogs have gone silent to pretend nothing ever happened, but I will continue to post facts to break through sexist stereotypes used by misandry feminist marketing that all men are evil and all women saintly.

People have to remember that women who make false claims of rape, which ranges between 12% to 50% of all rape claims, not only destroys innocent men, but also hurts real victims of rape.

I've always thought of Duke students as spoiled little rich kids who have the money to go to real Ivy-league schools but for some reason can't get in.

This whole sorry incident just reinforces my view.

I haven't had anything to say about this case, but I think part of the outrage was the severe punishment and public humiliation inflicted upon the accused before a shred of evidence was in. The team was disbanded and the players made pariahs on what now appears to be almost zero evidence -- and, in fact, solid exculpatory evidence (the one guy with a nearly absolute alibi comes to mind).

I don't know if race was much of a factor here, but the political ambitions of the DA certainly seemed to have been a major contributor.

It seems to me that it's unlikely that this case will ultimately go to trial. Nifong will drop the charges, after stringing this out for months.

And no justice will be served, regardless of the truth of the matter.

Ever since every sexist and racist group descended onto Duke to publicly condemn these boys, I went into over drive trying to make people consider that these boys wouldn't have submitted to DNA testing if they were guilty, but since the 1st DNA evidence came back, I became more persistent and met equally persistent feminist (i.e. feministing, Rachael’s Tavern, Alas a blog, Tennessee Guerrilla Women, Justice4Sisters, Hazel8500 etc...) who adamantly insist these boys are guilty for no other reason than because a "woman" (i.e. the stripper) claims it so.

I've noticed since then that most of feminist blogs have fallen silent as new evidence suggests that the stripper's claim to be false.

However, just when you think this case hit rock bottom, there’s about 50 feet of crap, then you find a sub-basement where in the corner Mike Nifong is hunched over clutching this dead case like “Gulum” (movie: Lord of the Rings) clutches the “ring of power”.

I love cherry pie, but I don't like cherry picking. Some people are trying to claim that the defense attorneys are cherry picking, but I don�t see it.

Much of the information Mike Nifong leaked wasn't so much cherry picked as it was artificially made by him personally (i.e. date rape drug, his reasoning of no DNA match, etc...).

Maybe Nifong is just clumsy and trying to make a pie, which would explain why he has egg on his face.

Since when does a rape allegation result in the cancellation of a entire sports season? Certainly not when a black Kentucky Basketball player was accused last year of rape by a white girl. Answer: when the the allegaed rapist is white and the alleged victim black.

Where was the outrage the last time the Duke alleged rape victim said she was raped (a number of years ago she said that 3 black men raped her). There were no protests or offers of a scholarship from Jessy Jackson.

Duke didn't only abandon these boys, they joined the wolves attacking these boys.

Can we all just dispense with the vitriolic hate filled messages and mourn for the tragedy that this represents for all parties concerned. Lawyers and DA's will get famous and move on, while the parties on both sides will have their lives and reputations ruined.

Duke Lacrosse Rape Accuser Mentioned No Condoms Were Used
It seems the defense keeps finding more to support their side of things, with each new piece of information they get. Now from that stack of 1,300 papers, they have discovered that the stripper accuser mentioned no condoms were used. No condoms and�
The stripper�s body was completely void of any sign of a sexual assault (except for signs of recent vaginal and anal from her boyfriend). The alleged crime scene was completely devoid of DNA.

It is impossible that a crime scene with three drunk men in a small enclosed room with a fighting and clawing woman being orally, virginally, and anally penetrated not leave any DNA evidence of urine, blood, vaginal fluid, sweat, fecal matter, scat smears, saliva, tears, or semen... especially if condoms were used. How would they take off the condoms during all this chaos without spilling, smearing, or touching the content inside or outside of the condom?

When investigators questioned the stripper after DNA tests on the semen found inside her vagina and rectum didn�t match any of the Duke players, the stripper admitted to having had sex with at least three men around the time of the alleged rape. The stripper named her boyfriend and two men who drove her to Duke. She also confessed to using a vibrating sex toy vaginally during a performance, prior to the Duke party, for a man and woman.

When questioned, the �drivers� said they would drop her off at several places, including hotel rooms.
