I don't really want to install any more Google software on my computer. If it were browser-based, that might be a different story, but I have enough crap installed here without adding another program I don't even know that I'll find useful, much less actually needing it. Posted by: Boyd Underwhelmed is an understatement.
Posted by: Erin Thought you might be interested in checking out www.diigo.com. It’s about "Social Annotation" and it is delicious/google notebook combined: clippings, tagging, caching. And a lot more — highlights and sticky notes right on any part of a webpage to serve as a personal reminder or even as a way to interact & exchange thoughts with other readers right on the very same webpage you're reading. Besides a toolbar, many of the unique productivity functions (highlight, annotate, forward, & bookmark) are also nicely enabled by a browser button without any installation. It is still under closed beta. I would like to invite you to try it out. We’d love to have your participation and hear what you think! Posted by: Maggie Maggie, send me an invitation to davidscottanderson@gmail.com and I will give it a whirl. Posted by: David Scott Anderson i have been using clipmarks.com for the last year and it seems like many are drawing comparisons to googles notebook. personally, i dont think notebook can even touch clipmarks functionality... wondering what you think...
