Now if only....
We could get this many people interested in protesting the Administration... 500,000 people marched in Los Angeles to protest immigration reform. And Digger, who is usually quite vocal about these events, is missing in action. Could it be that he is actually surprised at the huge turnout for the event? The immigration wars are over folks. When Vincente Fox can basically say people should have a right to illegally immigrate, and Bush does not respond forcefully... When Half a Million people take to the streets to protest immigration law... When Illegal immigration reaches the point it has in sheer numbers... It's over. Our borders are not secure, and the existing laws are just a sham. Despite being progressive, I am NOT pro-illegal immigration. I believe that laws must be obeyed, or changed. People can not just enter our country illegally and expect to have the same rights as legal immigrants. But one thing is for sure, with hundreds of thousands taking to the streets, the politicians will take notice. Posted by David A at March 25, 2006 08:42 PM

its over folks they want there and back.. :) im happy for theme. Posted by: Bush at March 25, 2006 09:24 PM Actually, I think the opposite is true. Any non-fringe politician who now supports massive illegal immigration or a "guest" worker scheme will be seen as little more than a Quisling by a large percentage of Americans. Posted by: BigMediaBlog I agree with BMB above. Of course I'm watching all of this. My bathroom bit the dust though and I've been working day and night for the past 3 days trying to get it fixed. When 500,000 criminals can rise up and roam the streets something is wrong. And yes they're criminals, they've all broken a law. Posted by: Digger at March 27, 2006 02:37 AM Post a comment
