I don't blame 'em though. I mean with Bush getting his ass handed to him on the issue of Iraq, and the fact that after three years we still don't have a plan... Not to mention the hundreds of Iraqis that have died in the last couple of weeks... They had to do something. Why not spend a couple million bucks and put our troops out there on a meaningless mission again, to show that... "Hey, we are taking it to the terrorist."

That and a questionable memo tying Iraq to UBL, and you might gain a point or two.... NOT!
