Was there a cover up in Texas?

I don't know, but Pensito Review makes a good case, and points out some... ummm irregularities.

On Countdown last night, Keith Olbermann interviewed Texas defense attorney Charles Parnham who said - finally - what everyone watching this blather has been thinking.

Vice President Cheney acted like he was covering up crime after he shot Harry Whittington in the heart last week - not calling local authorities in investigate, not notifying the press, etc. - because he was.

As Parnham pointed out, people who cause accidents because they were behaving imprudently are charged with criminal negligence every day. Even in Texas.

Aside from criminal charges, Harry Whittington could still sue Cheney for negligent behavior as a civil matter. However, it appears Harry is going to be a good Republican soldier, but prepare yourself for the shock when he's made the ambassador to Luxemburg later this year.

If you look at the sequence of events after the shooting, every action taken or avoided by the vice president, his hostess Katherine Armstrong and the hunting party was part of a deliberate effort to avoid prosecution.

Can you say "projecting?" I knew you could.

(Not you David- the writer, Olberman, and all the other conspiracy theorists. They just want it SOOOOOOOOO bad!)
