Lord I love Figure Skating
A heartfelt Congratulations to Shizuka Arakawa, and Japan on their Olympic Gold Medal victory in figure skating. Crooks and Liars has the video of the medal winning performance, and quite the performance it was! "NBC: Shizuka Arakawa skated off with Japan's first medal of these Olympics a gold in the showcase event. What a way to end a shutoutArakawa did it with an elegance and technical brilliance that even had two-time Olympic winner Katarina Witt standing and applauding before the Japanese skater was done. Cohen, who fell on her first jump and stumbled badly on the second, finished with silver; Slutskaya fell once and took bronze."
