Jon Stewart pisses off a lot of people. The Today show is the hip hit that it is, because it pulls no punches, and it exposes the bullshit for what it is.
Jon is like that cool guy we knew in College who always made his points through humor, and did it to devastating effect. One of his favorite subjects is the Bush Administration, and he has litteraly destroyed them in the last couple of years by exposing with a wink, the total moral bankruptcy of these people. Well the Cheney hunting accident is no exception. It is one of the funniest bits Stewart has ever done...

The idea that the Vice President of the United States, expresses his Macho by "hunting," ranch raised birds is so ridiculous, it is sublime, and really, at least in my eyes is sort of a metaphor for the whole Bush Bunch. A bunch of pansy boy he men, and women for that matter, who talk tough, but who's only exposure to real danger are carefully orchestrated photo ops and macho games.... Think Bush in the Flight Suite on the Abraham Lincoln... These people are walking jokes, and the sad part is I don't think they even realize it.
