Q. What sole site/blog has inspired you the most?

A. None really. A lot of the big Bloggers are assholes. One guy, A Brother, told me he would not give me a link because I was too small. This was when I first got started. Now Brotherman’s blog is dwarfed by mine. I am like hundreds of spaces ahead of him in the TLB ecosystem, and last time I looked, homey got like 1/5 of my daily traffic. I said then I would always try to help new Bloggers out, and I have adopted a bunch of them. So fuck him, and some of the others who were assholes to me.
But I used to read Nitecrawler faithfully. He wrote a post called, "The Fuck You Awards," which to me is seminal blogging at it’s best. I like a bunch of Blogs, but the ones who have given me the most love are the Commissar, Diggers Realm, Wizbang and Rogue Angel. Oliver Willis and Billmon were the first big blogs to hook me up with a link, and I consider them along with the Commissar to be my Blog Daddies.
UPDATE:Today it is John Cole's Balloon Juice, because he is the one person that I have found consistently to be honest with himself when it comes to politics. The man is a Rightie, but he is also very sane. I have become a big fan because of post like this one.

A. UPDATED: Yeah, "Shabooty is an unrepentant playuh, who writes what he wants, is completely politically incorrect, but doesn't give a shit. He often shocks me, but has fun with his blog, a lesson many of us could learn from!"

Q. Tell me about your book coming out...

A. UPDATED:32 Days has been put on hold by LIFE, but I tell you what... When I do get back to it, I know it is going to SHOCK a lot of people. It is the story of my life, told over 32 days. And some people who know me, like Rogue, will know it to be true, at least the parts during the years they have known me. 32 days is a journey, a reflection on the things I have done in my life. The good, the bad and the ugly, and I intend to be completely honest with it. Names will be changed to protect the innocent/guilty of course! Hehe.. Why would people want to read about my life? Well my post on Tookie Williams was one of my popular post this year, and my experience with the Crips while growing up, is only a small part of the story.

Q. Why 32 days? Why did you choose that number?

A. I could tell ya, but I would have to kill ya! Naw, just kidding. 32 is a mystical number. It is a bit complicated to explain. But when the book is published, if you read it, you will understand.

Q. Have you decided on a book cover yet?

A. Yeah, ALL black with White letters.

Q. What authors inspired you to write your own book?

A. None really. But I got the idea and inspiration from Tony Pierce, and his success with his two Blog inspired books.

Q. The beginning of your book reminds me of the Brazilian movie, City of God have you seen it? Could you see a movie being made from your book?

A. Yes, I want my nephew, Anthony Anderson, to play me in the movie version. And I am serious.

Q. I don't have a digital camera..would you say it's an essential tool for bloggers as a way to have original content?

A. No, but it doesn't hurt. Especially with a playuh like you. Hehe... I still want to see a picture of your lady. UPDATE: And I still do Shab'!

Q. Do you think your blog would stand out more if you were still in So-Cal, or as it is now, as a Costa-Rican cultured blog?

A. No, I think being in Costa Rica adds a certain Flavah to ISOU, you feel me. I mean, lots of people come to my blog just to see the Costa Rican Honey's and I don't disappoint them, do I? And You have not even seen my private stash! Oh wait! You have!

A. No, even though ISOU is on my Corporate domain, (Benefit of being the Chief Shareholder and CEO), I try to keep the two separate.

Q. What is your favorite news network and why?

A. CNN, because I have been watching it for years and at least they are somewhat fair. All of them are bullshit these days. So I dont watch any of them with regularity.

Q. Who's your fav. rapper?

A. 2Pac, is there any other. Though I met Dre a few years ago. Used to live near him in the Valley in LA. We used to Eat breakfast at the same House of Pancakes every Sunday.

Q. What is your CD deck?

A. Everything from ABBA to ZZ Top Baby. I am versatile when it comes to music. I live everything but hard rock. But believe it or not, my favorite groups tend to be 70’s style groups. The Eagles, Journey, Foreigner and people like Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Lionell Richie, shit like that. But I am major getting into Bond these days! Hehe! UPDATE: Since I got my iPod, finally, no thanks to ISOU readers... My taste have evolved. I recently found Usher's Yeah video for the iPod. Damn, I like that song, and the video is just smokin' sexy. but Bond still does if for me. I mean what is not to like about four sexy women playing classical pop? And lookin' good while doing it!

Q. Do you play any video games?

A. No, not really. No patience for it. But I like The Sims, and shit like Kuma War. UPDATE: I got a copy of Warfare for my Palm, play it for hours, so I guess I have changed a bit.
