Who listens to Karl Rove?

The folks who keep winning elections.

I wonder will they still be listening to him from inside a jail cell? Back in yo face!

Ah, the classics... "first we'll have a fair trial, THEN we'll hang him!"

A bunch of raving, howling liberals calling him names doesn't make him a criminal... just effective at his job.

You are probably right, not about him not being a criminal, but he probably wont end up in jail, will be too hard for him to send Radio Messages to W from a jail cell. Rebound and pass to Left on fastbreak!

That's one of the biggest differences between the left and the right; the left sees the right as evil, the right sees the left as stupid. They're not overly interested in locking up leftists, except for their own protection.

What size straitjacket do you take again?

Semi-serious: you're falling into the trap of thinking of EVERYTHING in legal terms. Not all matters are best settled by "my lawyer can beat up your lawyer." Using cops to fight terrorism didn't work for Clinton, and trying to get judges to override elections isn't a great idea, either.

See that is the difference. I dont see all Righties as Evil, but I do see many as stupid... As in stupid sheep who would follow Bush off a cliff. And that may just happen one of these days, the American Public still has almost three more years to get completely fed up with the lies, manipulation and bullshit. Let's just wait and see. Nixon once looked invincible too.

I'm NOT gonna respond tit-for-tat, David, but instead give you some tactical advice:

There's an old saying that "you can't beat somebody with nobody," and likewise you can't beat something with nothing. Last time, the Democrats' alternative to Bush was Kerry. Every time I thought of an issue and looked for Kerry's position, I came up with three possibilities:

1) "I would not have done what Bush did."

B) "I would have done what Bush did, but done it better."

III) He was for it and against it, depending on who he was addressing, who was asking, what the polls said, and the proximity of Mars to the Seventh House and the local dew-point.

There were -- and still are -- plenty of places I disagree with Bush. His spending and stance on illegal immigration appall me. But in 2004 he was a known quality, and I could live with his flaws because I did support the majority of his positions, and there was no credible alternative.

Besides, David, be realistic. George W. Bush will remain president until January 2009, and then he will gracefully retire. (I see him more likely to follow the lead of the vast majority of his predecessors and leading a largely private life, not publicity-whoring and being a disgrace to the office like Clinton.) Cheney, likewise.

And at that point, what will the Left do? They've spent eight years with their sole focus on loathing a guy who will, essentially up and disappear, having served out his full two terms. how will they deal with what looks to be the biggest case of political blueballs in history?

I dont think so, because between now and then I believe enough will come out to pretty much disgrace the man and his presidency... It is already mired in so much scandal it is hard to see how his legacy can be anything but a dark stain. I mean what has he accomplished? So the "ejaculation," may not be a dramatic one, hell it may not even come, but I have slept with women many times that I did not have sex with and enjoyed the experience none the less.
