You and I agree they might be common sense, David, but all three are anathema to liberals. It's the liberals that keep tossing more and more benefits at illegal aliens. It's the liberals that try to keep guns out of private citizens' hands (and tried to confiscate them in the wake of Katrina). And it's the liberals that push the retreat laws at every opportunity.

I don't consider myself a conservative, and I'm certainly not a Republican. But when one side consistently aligns itself against the rights and interests of the American people, it's kinda hard to maintain neutrality and NOT support the ones that oppose them.
