Define Winning?
Rob defines it as less American Casualties in Iraq. How many innocent Iraqis have died during the same period? How many policemen? How many others... I don't know what you call it, but winning, no... And saying so just makes it harder for Americans to realize that this is going to be a long war and that really winning it will require us to continue to sacrifice. I don't care how long it will take. Our troops have been in Korea for 50+ years and in Germany since the end of WWII. Until we pull our troops out of former hotspots we should be just as committed in having our troops in Iraq. Posted by: Robert at January 23, 2006 01:20 PM I agree with you Robert, but talk of winning or LOSING is premature and nothing but hype at this point. Posted by: David Anderson at January 23, 2006 01:26 PM Winning is... water, electricity, sanitation, all those things also help.....
