How is it disingenuous? He was given special favoritism due to his race--which is always a racist thing to do by the way--and he sued because he couldn't handle the position he was given. I don't see any other way of putting it.

As for waiting for something better than an utterly racist and despicable program like Affirmative Action: how about basing it on POVERTY, which isn't racist, rather than on RACE, which is?

I read recently that the rate of black poverty is "three times the white rate." By which they mean, 7% of whites are in poverty, and 21% of blacks--which mean 79% of blacks ARE NOT living in poverty, and by which they apparently mean, poor white trash don't count for shit, let's roll over them so millionaire black kids can get a special break. Give me a break...

Actually, I agree with you on the point about poverty being used as a guide. Now that is a progressive idea.
