This is why...
I dont believe Tony Pierce's theory about Pajamas Media. John Cole continues to impress me as an independent thinker who calls it as he see's it, regardless of the Party Line. I have always said that it is easier for this administration to justify torture because they never had to endure it, while someone like McCain, who knows what torture is, and from personal experience knows how innefective it can be, is against it... Things that make you go hmmmmm.... Posted by David A at December 14, 2005 06:03 PM

care to explain why you dont believe? Posted by: tony at December 15, 2005 01:30 AM A couple reasons. 1. If they were all paid shills for the administrations, John Cole would not have written the above mentioned piece. 2. If the administration really wanted to pay some blogs to keep the message out there, they forgot a couple BIG ones like Wizbang. Posted by: David Anderson at December 15, 2005 08:49 AM 1) you dont need to pay off all the shills, just the ones on top who will then distribute the $3.5 million. you dont even need to tell all of the ones on top where youre getting your money from. all the bloggers need to know is the checks wont bounce. thats all most people care about, especially republican bloggers who have defended torture, secret cia prisons, and a war based on lies 2) corraling 70 conservative blogs is just the start. some will slip through the cracks. some will sign up later. by getting insta, malkin, and lgf they got the biggest ones, the rest will follow.
