Sunday Reading - October 30th
I haven't done this in a while. Time to get back to touring a bit to see what is going on in the Blogsphere. Chad at In the Bullpen, does a Round the Reader edition. Remember Round the Reader? It was a good idea until I got kicked out for being too Liberal, hehe... Oliver has a post about the Virginia Gubernatorial Race. Crooks and Liars has Brit Hume demonstrating Fox's version of "Fair and Balanced." Rob has a pretty horrible story about another religious attrocity, this time from Indonesia. Balloon Juice has a new guest blogger, and he is talking about the relevance of the Democratic Pary! Now that's a change! Right on John! The Commissar has a trip arround the blogsphere. And I think he must be mad at me. Not sure what to think about this post from Wizbang. I agree that we need to enforce immigration laws, but damn! Can't we show some flexibility sometimes???? Dean is taking nominations for "Most Facinating Person of the 20th Century," my vote goes to Pope John Paul. I am not catholic, but there is no doubt this man probably had more impact than anyone. But it is a tough call... So many greats... Jack's Dad is sick. I did not know. My prayers go out to Jack and his Dad. I had heard about the Mexican Government's how to immigrate illegally guide, but this is the first time I have seen it. All you ever wanted to know but where affraid to ask about Opus Dei! Words of wisdom via TP: "a wise man once said: if you have a good blog, you probably have a bad job. if you have a good web site, you probably have a dull life; if you have a good job you probably have a bad blog, and if you have a bad site you're normal." George W. Bush will repair what has been damaged . . . Dick Cheney Of liquid filled mice... and men! LOL! Posted by David A at October 30, 2005 11:39 AM

My thinking went mostly to science and technology, but if I were to pick a political/spiritual leader it would be Nelson Mandela. Posted by: Dean Esmay Post a comment
