Thanks Rob, as you can see, it was a rather emotional day for me.

I could tell. Not a damn thing wrong with that.

I'm an atheist myself, so I've never had a likwise moment with my girl, but I know how important they are.

You know what is funny, I am not catholic so I guess you could say I dont completely get all the ritual stuff. But it was a beautiful ceremony, especially the part where the Padre talked about our responsibility to lead our children by example.

I've always enjoyed the Catholic sense of pagentry, if not particularly anything else about the religion.

I'm the same way as Rob. One of the things that makes Catholicism so successful is the comfort of the ritual.

Oh, and thanks for sharing this with us, David. It's one of those proud days of parenthood.
