Way to go, David. People can't answer the questions or comment without going past the answers. This quiz has been around for a while, and I've heard them all. It's largetly a matter of remembering: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12. I passed on 3, 10, and 11 -- food and sports are not two of my forte's. I'll return the favor with a couple questions of my own devising. I'd posed them on Wizbang a while ago. 1) Five people have, in the course of their careers, done standup comedy, TV series regulars, and won Oscars for dramatic performances. Name as many of them as you can. 2) Two guys are arguing. The first insists that not a single major battle was fought within the United States during World War II. The other guy says he's personally visited two World War II battlefields within the United States. Which guy is right? J. Posted by: Jay Tea at September 27, 2005 06:12 PM I got maybe half of those. Rather enjoyed taking this quiz. JT's quiz: Posted by: Beck at October 1, 2005 06:25 AM Nicely done, Beck. Pearl Harbor and the Aleutian Islands both saw major battles, but weren't states at the time. And I originally came up with three answers to the first question -- Tom Hanks, Whoopi Goldberg, and Robin Williams -- but my readers added George Burns and Art Carney. J. Posted by: Jay Tea at October 1, 2005 04:26 PM Late to answer, I know...but LETTUCE (the answer to question #11 is wrong....LETTUCE is used in V8 Juice (so wouldn't that have to be considered "processed")? Posted by: ccrashh at July 21, 2006 01:03 PM Excuse me,but number 4 is incorrect. Cricket is another game that has the same principles. Posted by: JJ at August 20, 2006 08:43 PM Number 10 has an incorrect answer. There are six other ways to reach base without a hit, but two of the six listed in your answer, are the same thing. A dropped 3rd strike and a passed ball are technically the same thing. The answer missing, is that a batter can reach 1st base on a fielder's error.
