There's lot's of poke, also known as inkberry, growing around here. During the Civil War, soldiers used the berries for ink to write letters home and write in diaries. I decided to experiment with the berries and make some ink. The top image is the true color of the ink, and the bottom is scanned in grey shades.
Meanwhile, are we in another Civil War when shit like this is happening?
