I posted today how some employers are setting up funds in which they match employee contributions.

I suggest you ask your readers to check with their employers to see if they can effectively double their contributions.

Also, I have placed a link above my banner and also on my sidebar to contribute to the relief efforts of the Salvation Army. They do a good job of *long-term* help, especially with those who have other challenges to deal with in addition to being a refugee from a storm.
