Ok its Saturday night, after a long Saturday of work.
I am sitting at my kitchen table, sipping Costa Rican coffee from my "Bloggahland" coffee mug, and enjoying a Marlboro Menthol cigarette.

My wife has hijacked my notebook to play cards on Yahoo, Apollonia is finally asleep on the couch, and I am blogging on my Pocket PC while listening to some classic Queen (Radio Ga Ga), through the headphones.
It's one of those monents of Nostalgia my Blog buddy Ray Garraud and I used to rap about!
Ain't it a trip how music will do that to you?

As each song filters into my brain, I am taken further and further away from my current reality.
Memories come flooding back. The laughter of a beautiful girl in a post coital moment. The first time I heard the lil girl voice of a certain KY blogger... The first time I ever sacked the Quarterback... Mad fraternity parties in College!
The memories wash over me, causing me to Shiver despite the warmth of them.

Yea Fraternity parties... "Doing da Butt," from Spike Lee's "School Daze," cranks into my ears, bringing back memories of wild toga parties at USC's Grill.

Then there's Tony Tone Toni's "Anniversary," and I am transported back to the early 90's and a futon in my Townhouse in Canoga Park, CA. I am making love for the first time to a girl I had pursued for a year... That song was playing and I remember thinking I would have many anniversaries with her...
Unfortunately we didnt even make it to two. Suzette Garcia, wherever you are... I will always love you!

Anyway, enough for tonight. The coffee is gone, cigarette burned out and The Scorpions are singing "Winds of Change," as my PPC's batteries are down to 40%.

Yea music will do that to you...

Time flys when you go back in it.
