Bert, this is one I dont agree with you on for pre-stated reasons. I will leave it at that.

Bottomline: TCF gets it, David doesn't.

Some Dems, like David, suffer symptoms akin to battered wife syndrome. That is, they've been whacked so many times by the extreme right, they've come to believe they deserve the beating. After a time, they retreat into a defensive shell and hope they're not offending their assailant.

The problem with such a syndrome is apparent--the victim has done nothing wrong and the assailant will beat on them regardless.

The fact is the GOP will attack any DNC head or any Dem who dares speak out.

You know what JG? You are suppossed to be on the same side as I am, so I am not going to attack you. But will tell you, I have just about had it with you putting words in my mouth and thoughts in my head. You arent qualified. PERIOD. You can dissagree with me all you want. If Dean survives for four years we will see if his strategy works. If you are right, I will be the first one to tell you and Bert that you were right. If not, I will tell you what a dissaster his election as DNC chair was. But I may not have to wait that long. Fund raising for the Democratic party is down. The Republicans are winning the message war, and Dean, rather than specifically attacking Republican Party policies, and obvious targets like Bush's complicity in decieving the American Public about Irag, or the fact that Tom Delay is a criminal, (Tough Tactics with Teeth), goes arround making dumbassed comments about hating republicans and pointing out the racial and religious makeup of the party. Then he spends a week trying to spin the idiotic comments. Instead of attacking you, and putting words in your mouth, I will make a post and tell you exactly what I want from Dean.

I've read Jadegold's opinions elsewhere, so believe me, he means no personal offense, it's just he shares my frustration as to how many on the Left just don't get the 'inside baseball' being played by Dean and the Dems!

And, I cannot state it any clearer than what I already wrote! The only way one can understand my theory, is to start from the irrefutable fact that the Dems are fighting a media dominated, dictated and compromised by the GOP and the Conservative Right.

I'm tired of those faulting Dean and the party for not coming up with their Social Security plan, or talking about real issues instead of bashing the Republicans!. Because, when they do, they get no such media coverage whatsoever!

So, Dean has to say outrageous things to get covered by the MSM (harsh, but true rhetoric). And, other Dems have to criticize him in order to get more time to maybe address more pressing issues.

There are too many amateurs and 'Whales' with too much power in the Lefty blogsphere, taking such strategic politics, literally.

But, I'm not through with you yet, David!
