More Bad News For Bush!
Despite the MSM continuing to ignore the evidence contained in Secret British Documents, The American People appear to be waking up. 52% of Americans say Bush "Intentionally Misled The American Public" Into Iraq War! Apparently the Rove Spin attempt is having no effect on distracting the American People. with almost 2,000 Americans dead in Iraq, thousands more wounded and an estimated 100,000 Plus dead Iraqis, it may be too little, too late, that the American People are finaly starting to realize what many have known for a long time. In the interim, the har core left continues to prop up the war, and go into spin overdrive trying to justify the unjustifiable. Posted by David A at June 28, 2005 12:31 AM

Apparently the Rove Spin attempt is having no effect on distracting the American People. Rove "spin attempt"? "Distracting"? Call it what you will, it doesn't make it so. Unfortunately, the "quagmire" and "liar" spin attempt has had an effect, though--to the DETRIMENT of the war effort, and consequently the troops you claim to support. You know, a detrimental effect on the war isn't a good way to end it, unless your only goal is to say "I was right" rather than really to bring the troops home. Don't any of you realize the function of demoralizing the enemy in combat? So why the constant push to demoralize our own troops? Are y'all really that naive to think that the constant "liar," "quagmire," etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum chanting is NOT demoralizing to the troops? Rove's only mistake was saying it's a liberal thing, because in my mind none of the hateful anti-war left is liberal, by any stretch of the imagination. It's a left-wing problem, for sure. Posted by: Beth at June 28, 2005 11:38 PM Sorry Beth. I like you, so I am not going to be nasty about this. But true patriotism is standing up for what is right. They lied, and over 100,000 people are now dead. I don't really care about the morale of our troops in light of that. Nor do I care about being right personally. I care about my country and it's place in History. That place has potentially been irrevocably stained as a result of the actions of a few people whom you happen to support. History will determine who among us is right or wrong. The fact that so many of you on the Right are willing to overlook the immorality of sending our young men and women to war based on a lie, is a sad testament to the state of political affairs in our country today.
