Downing Street Memo News
The Battle over the Downing Street Memo has made Wikipedia! Rep. John Conyers letter to the Bush Administration demanding answers now has 86,000 Signatures, add yours to the list! This is an issue that must not be allowed to die. It has been my believe from day one that our troops were sent to Iraq becuase George W. Bush felt his father's failure to remove Saddam was a bit of unfinished business that he needed to tend to. This was after all, "The man who tried to kill my daddy," and it is clear by now that GW is a man who takes a personal approach to governance. The memo is additional evidence that The President had an obsession with Iraq and Saddam, and at minimum, he owes it to the American people to answer the questions posed by Representative Conyers.
