Margaret Hassan Dead?

CNN is reporting in a news alert, that British Authorities are reporting her death.

Chad has more details, my prayers and condolences go out to her family.

Digger, as usual, has an extensive roundup of information. Including several previous post:

Nov. 12 - Margaret Hassan, Director Of Care And Hostage, May Be Inside Fallujah

Nov. 2 - Margaret Hassan, CARE Director, Video Surfaces; Terrorists Threaten To Turn Her Over To Zarqawi

Oct. 28 - New Hostage Video Of Margaret Hassan Released

Oct. 22 - Margaret Hassan Hostage And Director Of CARE Video Released

Oct. 19 - Margaret Hassan, Director Of CARE, Taken Hostage In Iraq

which provide extensive background.

Others with post on today's news:

The Jawa Report | Chris Short | Blogs Of War | Right Thinking From The Left Coast | Ramblings' Journal | Captain's Quarters | The Command Post | Armies Of Liberation | Master of None | SlantPoint | Interested Participant | Sortapundit | Outside the Beltway

There is no doubt in my mind that the Terrorist are on the run. It is likely that Margaret was in Fallujah and as a result of the Terrorist having to move fast they simply killed her. It would seem that with the current Military offenssives taking place, that their time is limited, lets hope so.
